...Waterspouts Possible Across South Florida Waters...

This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Thunderstorms: Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible
across South Florida today. The main hazards are lightning and heavy
downpours.

Flooding: Localized street flooding in the metro areas of both
southeast and southwest Florida is possible with any stronger storms
or training of storms that may produce locally heavy downpours.

Waterspouts: There is a moderate chance of waterspouts across the
Atlantic waters of South Florida. There is a slight chance of
waterspouts over Lake Okeechobee and Gulf waters.

Wind: Bands of gusty showers and isolated thunderstorms may produce
gusty winds over the Atlantic waters.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

Periods of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are possible
through the weekend, before returning to more of a typical summer
time weather pattern next week. Lightning and some street flooding
are possible with the storms this weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated,
however individual spotters are encouraged to report high wind, hail
and flooding to the National Weather Service forecast office in
Miami.
