SATURDAY...

The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a Gale Warning,
which is in effect from 7 PM this evening to 4 AM CDT Friday. A
Small Craft Advisory has also been issued. This Small Craft
Advisory is in effect from 4 AM Friday to 11 PM CDT Saturday.

* WINDS...Southeast to south winds increasing to 20 to 30 knots
  with higher gusts late this afternoon shifting west late
  tonight. Frequent higher gusts to gale force likely through late
  in the night. West to northwest at 20 to 30 knots with higher
  gusts through Saturday.

* WAVES/SEAS...Seas building to 7 to 10 feet out 20 nm, and 10 to
  14 feet from 20 to 60 nm.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds or frequent gusts
of 20 to 33 knots and/or seas of 7 feet or higher are expected to
produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft. Inexperienced
mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid
navigating in these conditions.

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.
