This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Southeast
Louisiana...South Mississippi and the adjacent coastal waters.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Small Craft Advisory remains in efffect for the waters east of
the mouth of the Mississippi River due to long period easterly
swells 7 to 7 feet. These conditions will slowly improve into the
early evening. A strong cold front moves off the coast shorty
after midnight with Small Craft Advisory conditions developing
overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Small Craft Advisories may remain into Monday.

There may be a light freeze of relatively short duration Tuesday
and Wednesday morning in the interior portions of the outlook
area.

There is a possibility of heavy rainfall and strong thunderstorms
late next week associated with a surface low that develops over
the west gulf along with a cold front that could move through
Friday.

MONDAY...

* WHAT...For the first Small Craft Advisory, seas 5 to 8 ft. For
  the second Small Craft Advisory, north winds 20 to 25 kt with
  gusts up to 35 kt and seas 6 to 9 ft expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Waters from Boothville LA to Southwest Pass of
  the Mississippi River out 20 nm, Coastal waters from
  Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20 NM, Coastal
  Waters from Stake Island LA to Southwest Pass of the
  Mississippi River from 20 to 60 nm and Coastal waters from
  Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island Louisiana out 20 to 60
  NM.

* WHEN...For the first Small Craft Advisory, until 6 PM CST this
  evening. For the second Small Craft Advisory, from 3 AM Sunday
  to noon CST Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Conditions will improve for a period this
  evening prior to the arrival of a strong cold front tonight.
  This frontal passage will cause conditions to become hazardous
  once again into Sunday and early Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
