NIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has
issued a Gale Warning, which is in effect from 3 PM Sunday to
midnight EST Sunday night. A Small Craft Advisory has also been
issued. This Small Craft Advisory is in effect from 9 AM to 3 PM
EST Sunday.

* WINDS...34 to 47 knots within the Gale Warning.

* WINDS...18 to 33 knots within the Small Craft Advisory.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and a properly equipped vessel. Recreational boaters
should seek safe harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

A Small Craft Advisory means winds of 18 to 33 knots are imminent
or occurring. Boaters operating smaller vessels should avoid
navigating in these conditions.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and adjacent counties in
central Maryland and northern Virginia as well as the District of
Columbia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Rain is expected tonight. The rain may be heavy at times. Excess
runoff from already saturated soils may cause flooding of small
streams and urban areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Flooding of small streams and urban areas may persist into
Sunday. Potomac River flooding is possible in the Washington DC
area Monday into Tuesday.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the Washington and Baltimore
Metropolitan areas as well as southern Maryland Sunday afternoon
and evening. Wind gusts around 50 to 55 mph are expected and this
may lead to isolated wind damage. Strong winds are possible again
Monday morning through midday.

A Gale Warning is in effect for the waters Sunday afternoon
through Sunday evening. Gale force winds are likely over the
waters overnight Sunday and Monday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
