The nearshore and off shore Atlantic and Caribbean Coastal Waters-

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Flooding...Showers over Puerto Rico could produce ponding of
water on roadways and low-lying areas.

.Wind...Sustained winds in excess of 20 MPH/17 knots expected across
the local Atlantic and Caribbean waters as well as the coastal areas
exposed to the easterly winds.

.Waves...Choppy seas of 4-8 feet are expected across the local
waters.

.Rip Currents...There is a high risk of rip currents for the northern
coasts of Puerto Rico and Culebra.

.Days Two through Seven...Wednesday through Monday

A high risk for rip currents and rough seas will continue for the next
several days due to a northerly swell and windier than normal
conditions. The waves will begin to come down on Wednesday, and the
rip currents on Thursday. A better chance for showers and flood
potential will occur tomorrow and Thursday.

.Spotter information statement...

Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated, however individual
spotter are encouraged to report High winds / Rip Currents to the
National Weather Service in San Juan.
