Western Interior-Mayaguez and Vicinity-Southwest-Culebra-Vieques-
The nearshore and off shore Atlantic and Caribbean Coastal Waters-

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Thunderstorms...There is a good chance of thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall and brief gusty winds this afternoon across portions northern,
eastern interior and western areas of Puerto Rico.

.Flooding...Heavy rains will lead to urban and small stream flooding
as well as ponding of water on roadways and in poor drainage areas.

.Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents for some of
the northern beaches of Puerto Rico.

.Days Two through Seven...Saturday through Thursday

Isolated afternoon thunderstorms may lead to minor urban and small
stream flooding in Northwest PR.

There will be a moderate risk of rip currents for the northern and
some of the east facing beach of Puerto Rico as well as Culebra and
some east beaches in Vieques.

.Spotter information statement...

Spotter activation is not anticipated. Please relay any information
about winds, waves, and rip currents to the National Weather Service
in San Juan while following all local and state guidelines.
