The nearshore and off shore Atlantic and Caribbean Coastal Waters-

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Thunderstorms...There is a chance of thunderstorms with moderate to
heavy rainfall and brief gusty winds this afternoon across portions
of western Puerto Rico.

.Flooding...Heavy rains could lead to minor flooding in areas of poor
drainage.

.Wind...Sustained winds in excess of 20 MPH (17 knots) are expected
across the local Atlantic and Caribbean waters.

.Waves...Choppy seas up to 6 feet expected across the offshore
Atlantic and Caribbean waters as well as the Mona Passage.

.Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents for
the north and sough coasts of Puerto Rico, as well as most beaches in
Vieques and Culebra.

.Days Two through Seven...Friday through Wednesday

Seas will remain choppy for the next few days. There will also be a
moderate risk of rip currents for the next few days. The outer bands
of the current Tropical Depression Eleven, expected to pass well to
our north on Sunday, could bring showers and thunderstorms to the
local area starting late Saturday through Monday.

.Spotter information statement...

Spotter activation is not anticipated. Please relay any information
about winds, waves, and rip currents to the National Weather Service
in San Juan while following all local and state guidelines.
