Multi-Day and Region Severe Weather Event

A multi-day weather event with severe storms and heavy rainfall will impact several parts of the country. Today, an enhanced risk of severe storms capable of a few strong tornadoes and wind damage are forecast across the central Gulf Coast states. Flash Flooding is also possible from the central Gulf Coast to the Ohio Valley. These threats will press eastward towards the East Coast on Friday.

Saturday Night: North winds 10 to 15 knots backing southwest 5 to 10 knots late at night, then backing south toward daybreak. Partly cloudy. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

Sunday: South winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly sunny. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

Monday: Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots backing north. Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
