Showers and Thunderstorms from Northeast Texas into the Ohio Valley; Rain and Snow Return to the West Coast

Low pressure will track into the Tennessee Valley overnight with showers and thunderstorms from northeast Texas to the Ohio Valley. Isolated severe thunderstorms are expected from northeast Texas to southwest Illinois. Several Pacific storms will batter much of the West Coast through the coming week. Heavy rain is possible in lower terrain with snow for the mountains.

Tuesday Night: North northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas around 2 feet. Period 3 seconds. Bay and inland waters a light chop.

Wednesday: North winds 10 to 20 knots nearshore and north 15 to 20 knots offshore. Seas 2 to 4 feet with occasional seas to 5 feet. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop.

Wednesday Night And Thursday: Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet nearshore and 2 to 4 feet with occasional to 6 feet offshore. Bay and inland waters a moderate chop.

Thursday Night And Friday: Northeast winds 5 to 15 knots. Seas less than 2 feet nearshore and 2 to 3 feet offshore. Bay and inland waters a light chop.
