Showers and Thunderstorms from Northeast Texas into the Ohio Valley; Rain and Snow Return to the West Coast

Low pressure will track into the Tennessee Valley overnight with showers and thunderstorms from northeast Texas to the Ohio Valley. Isolated severe thunderstorms are expected from northeast Texas to southwest Illinois. Several Pacific storms will batter much of the West Coast through the coming week. Heavy rain is possible in lower terrain with snow for the mountains.

Tue: NE winds 20 to 25 kt, diminishing to 10 to 15 kt. Gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Swell mainly from the SE with a dominant period of 6 seconds.

Tue Night: NE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Swell mainly from the E with a dominant period of 7 seconds.
