The inclement weather pattern over the western U.S. will likely bring mountain snow through the weekend. Critical fire weather will continue over the Southern Plains. Early next week through mid-week, there will be potential for heavy rain and possible flooding in the southern U.S. and wintry precipitation from the Mid Atlantic to the Northeast.
