Wintry Weather and Strong Winds Impact the Eastern States; Heavy Rain and Heavy Mountain Snow in the West
A powerful storm will bring heavy snow and blowing snow and heavy freezing rain from the Great Lakes to the Northeast; and strong winds from the Plains to the Mid-Atlantic. In the West, heavy rain with heavy mountain snow can be expected into next week. Super Typhoon Wutip will slowly move northwest away from Guam, but heavy rain, surf, and damaging winds continue across the area.
