Major Storm System Bringing A Plethora Of Impacts To The Central And Eastern U.S. This Weekend

A powerful storm system will track from the Plains to the Great Lakes region this weekend. On the cold side of the storm, heavy snow with blizzard conditions are expected over portions of the central and northern Plains to the upper Great Lakes. Severe thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and flash flooding will be possible over the lower Mississippi, Tennessee, and Ohio Valley.

Sun Night: W winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Waves 2 to 3 ft.

Mon: W winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt, diminishing to 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon. Waves 2 to 3 ft.

Mon Night: W winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming NW 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Waves 1 ft.
