Locally Heavy Rain and Snow Across Parts of the West Mid-Week

Heavy lower elevation rains and mountain snows are expected across northern California on Wednesday, as a storm system moves inland off the Pacific. This storm will spread heavy snows into the northern and central Rockies and portions of the High Plains late in the week. As it moves east, additional moderate to heavy rainfall is possible across parts of the already flooded Midwest by Friday.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

Synopsis: A low pressure area that is expected to develop just to the east of Florida later tonight will bring several days of very hazardous boating conditions across the local waters. North northeasterly gales and hazardous seas are expected to overspread the Atlantic waters on Wednesday, with hazardous conditions developing over the Gulf waters and Lake Okeechobee into Wednesday night. Winds and seas will gradually improve on Friday as the low moves east away from the area. Lastly, rain showers will be possible throughout the day Wednesday with a slight chance for thunderstorms across the Atlantic waters.

.GULF STREAM HAZARDS... Gale conditions developing Wednesday morning, with increasing seas Wednesday, especially in/around the Gulf Stream where seas can reach up to 14 to 17 ft.
