In addition, a band of strong thunderstorms will move west through the waters on Friday ahead of the frontal passage, triggering locally higher wind gusts, poor visibility, and frequent lightning strikes. Conditions are forecast to improve early Sunday into next week as high pressure builds in over the area from the west.
